Industrial emissions to air

  • Lou assisted Green Gorilla obtain an air discharge consent for a new waste transfer station in Tauriko. The site is located in an industrial zone but also within 250 metres of a residential area and, as such, poses potential odour risks. Lou and Jayne undertook odour surveys of the successfully operating (and larger) Green Gorilla waste transfer station in Drury and drafted an air quality management plan to support complaint-free operation. The site opened in late 2025.
